The game that aims to set a marker down as an all-time classic of its genre, developed by a dynamic and innovative team of developers who love creating and gaming. We are unafraid to think outside the box and to get creative in our quest to develop the game that we want to play.

Harbinger provides a fresh, unique, and exciting future title for fans of the genre.

Multiplayer Open-World

Harbinger is an open-world multiplayer survival game set in 256km² of an abandoned and decaying Soviet state in Northern Europe named Krasnokrai, decades after the Cold War went hot and an ancient race of Aliens invaded, ravaging what remained of humanity.

You are a survivor.

Survive. Thrive. Fight Back.

Ancient Alien Enemies

Harbinger’s main antagonists are an ancient Alien species named the Setantii who are no strangers to Earth. This time they are here to stay and are hell-bent on culling humanity to near extinction.

Harbinger Aliens are rarely found aimlessly wandering around the world however, instead, they are hunters that feature in multiple gameplay systems such as incursions and the notoriety system that allow players to engage with these foes with the chance of acquiring huge experience and exotic loot.

Your job is to face them down and take the hunt to the hunters.

Deep Progression Systems

Harbinger features a 6-class hybrid talent system giving you endless variety to express yourself and your playstyle, as well as a general talent system accessible to all players.

But that’s not all, Harbinger features additional progression within every single weapon in the game, allowing you to find and master your weapons.

Always wanted to be a parkour jumping, bolt action rifle mastering stealth hunter? We’ve got you covered.

Medium-core survival

Harbinger is a Medcore survival game at its core meaning we want to find a genuine balance between punishing hardcore survival mechanics and diluted arcade-style survival mechanics.

We feel survival games have gone too far with extreme survival mechanics, dying from hypothermia in the rain or after eating a rotten apple, tracking macronutrients and vitamins, or even having to perform your natural business! We don’t find these mechanics conducive to fun gameplay and want to focus on what really makes survival games interesting and exciting.

Satisfying Gunplay

Similarly to Medcore survival, Harbinger features Medcore gunplay with realistic, challenging recoil, and satisfying mechanics but doesn’t allow extreme realism to take focus at the expense of player fun.

Harbinger also features realistic ballistics such as bullet penetration, bullet drop, and small-scale destruction that add further depth and skill giving players the opportunity to truly master the challenge and increase their skills in-game.

We want to be the game that gamers talk about when discussing the best FPS gunplay. Not good. The best.

Amazing Visuals

From conception, Harbinger has always been about pushing the boundaries of what is possible in gaming, and that will continue to be a pillar and standard we work to uphold.

That’s not to say you’ll be left out if you don’t have a super PC though, Harbinger has been developed with the latest and greatest tools and techniques available such as photogrammetry and UE5s Lumen and Nanite to ensure we can bring you an incredibly immersive Soviet world that looks and performs fantastically.

Immersive UI

As part of our greater goal to create the most immersive and grounded-in-reality experience possible, significant amounts of our UI systems feature photoscanned objects that we use to create a physical representation of various UI elements, such as compasses.

In Harbinger, if you want to open up your map and see where you’re going, or find out what compass heading you’re traveling, then you have to get them out of your bag and look at them in person, not just look at a 2D UI somewhere on your screen.

Base Building. Differently.

Harbinger features a completely fresh outlook on player-made bases that differs from the vast majority of base systems such as grid-based building or building reclamation seen in survival games. Our goal is to bring you a completely different way of creating your own home base using the camps system.

The goal of camps is to create a system that allows players to build hidden campsites to store items and fortify their camp in the environment around it, by building objects such as camouflaged netting, shelters, traps, natural barriers, foxholes, bunkers, and much, much more.
